I worked again this year with my friend Kasumi to put together a little special winter merch package. Kasumi is an incredible knitter. She hand-knit twenty pairs of 100% natural wool custom Barrie socks over the past couple months as she moved from Japan to New Zealand. Each pair takes her several days to make, and she picked the colors this year to match the outfits from our live show :)

We’re pairing the socks with a pack of seven unreleased demos that I’ve made recently or have been sitting on. They’re songs that I really love but have fallen through the cracks somehow. They never quite fit a record, or otherwise didn’t make sense to release. I like that they never got polished, so they show some insight into how I go about making songs. (Plus a remix of Hutch that was recently on Sex Lives of College Girls.) I’m sending them out with Kasumi’s socks as a little set of homemade goods.
